Best sandwiches and subs in Ottawa! Huge selection at a fantastic price and they even have a great selection of freshly baked desserts. They also have a big freezer full of prepared Italian dishes, but I have yet to try them.

If you’re hungry these sandwiches are going to do the trick. The prices are very reasonable and they have a huge selection to chose from. I suggest the #16 St Andrews. Best of all, you can finish off your huge sandwich with an amazing butter tart. There is no place in the city that compares.

This was a real treat! I’ve looked for authentic sausage rolls for years but this is the first time I’ve found them in the Ottawa area. They definitely are worth the drive. In addition, I bought a sandwich, a sample of tarts, a slice of buttermilk pie, and the individual chicken pot pies to try. The pastry is probably the best commercial pastry I’ve had in a very long time. The sandwich was very fresh and very satisfying. I’d happily recommend this place to anyone wanting a lunch, a take home dinner, or catering an office gathering

Unreliable. Unprofessional.We placed an order for 70 sandwiches to treat our employees for a Canada Day work lunch. After receiving a confirmation 4 days prior, upon arrival to pick up order, they had no clue or answer for our order. This left us with 70 very unhappy employees and a business we will never work with again. This is not a reliable catering company.

Great spot, glad a friend recommended I try it. Tons of sandwich options and delicious baked goods. I had the Sir Anthony sandwich with Pastrami and Hit Genoa; it was delicious and at $6.25, was an excellent price. I'll be a repeat customer!

Sandwiches for days. Super tasty and made to order in no time. Don't miss out on the butter tarts, classic pie crust filled with different versions of sugary tart fillings. Have never had a bad thing from them.

I miss their Antares location. Picked up 2 sandwiches and some sweets today and the lettuce was gag worthy. Brown and wilted and should never be on a sandwich.

Had the #21 godfather sandwich and really enjoyed it, great value and quick and efficient service. Lineup out the door before and after we were there. The food here is amazing! You get a really good portion for a cheap price. The sandwiches are the best, and dont be afraid to request for them to be "hot and dirty", which means hot peppers and extra sauce is added. If you're in the area, you NEED to try this place!

I just had the most INCREDIBLE sandwich I think I've ever had in my life!! I didn't even go to the shop. My tastes were described to the owner who knew exactly what to tell this expert sandwich maker. Everything down to the cheeky label was perfection and a price that's better than inferior fast food. Saving the other half of my sandwich, (they're huge!) So I could split a tart with my boy. I would recommend. I will be back again. I can't say enough good things! Thank you!

Love Frank's generally my review would have been better. Today, my regular #21 was honestly disappointing made with little bits of beef making the sandwich looking like it was made by scraping the last of the pot but not wonderful as it can be.Sauce was delicious but if you love the jalapeno buns I find they are always out when I am there ..today at 1:45 ☹. It's Weds so not sure why.

Fantastic sandwiches on fresh baked crusty bread with tons of meat. Award winning butter tarts. Lots of frozen quality meals. Love the sausage rolls and hot pepper jelly they make there.

Amazing deli sandwich menu. Extremely cost effective, and they offer baked goods, soups and take home dinners. Service is impeccable, it’s always well staffed and their line is fast putting together sandwiches. They have buns and wraps!

This is one of if not the best sandwich stops in Ottawa. If you like the show "You gotta eat here", you should make your own episode and visit this gem. Great sandwiches, baked goods like canolis, cookies and tarts! They even have take home meals.

Awesome selection of great tasting sandwiches along with some desserts. Try a tart with your sandwich personally my favorite is the pecan.

Everything always taste good over there and price is really affordable. My suggestion # 30 for the sandwich + cauliflower soup and obviously as dessert butterscotch tarts. 👌🏾👍🏾Enjoy it guys!

Always heard about the butter tarts but was never able to make it in until recently. Then found out they do subs, hold the phone!! (I know, late to the party) The quality of everything there is top notch. The staff is amazing. Hardest part is deciding what sub you want but you won't be disappointee with any selection. Support local!!

Franks claims to have the best butter tarts in town. He without a doubt has the best deli sandwiches in town - and may have the best butter tarts in all of Eastern Ontario and possibly beyond as far as I'm concerned! The only knock on Frank is that he is a hard core Leafs fan. That's ok - this Sens fan absolutely LOVES Frank and his place!

Just the best sandwiches you can find. Making it fresh while you wait. So many great tarts too, lemon and butter tarts, very good. Used to have a daily feature, they don't anymore, miss that. But, great place for sandwiches.

Friendly service, top quality sandwiches, baked goods, home baked meals. The sandwiches are great, their baked goods are from scratch and top quality. You have to try a buttermilk pie. I'm off deer hunting this week so for fast meals we tried the frozen ready to bake steak and mushroom pie, flavourful, buttery flaky pastry, beautifully seasoned. A mini pie is a meal for one. Tray of cabbage rolls, baked them from frozen for an hour and 15 at 350F, wonderful home made cabbage rolls with tender flavourful filling and classic tangy sauce. Tonite we had the meatballs in marinara sauce. I boiled some quality pasta and heated the meatballs at 350F for 45 minutes. It was amazing! This is the best meatballs and sauce I have ever had in my life and I've had some good ones. You can't go wrong with Franks.

Best subs in town,they have gluten free buns but that still needs some work

Frank's is AMAZING. Excellent food, super friendly staff and a community minded business. I noticed someone was unhappy about them being out of cheese and jalapeno buns...I understand the disappointment as everything is so delicious! But from what I gather, that particular bakery was closed for the past few months and JUST re-opened. I'll bet they're filling orders as fast as they can. Thanks Frank's for keeping us all going with great food and great service!

A great place to stop and have lunch after a long ride by car. Easy to get from the 416. Large sized, filling and excellent varieties. All subs, takes a while to pick which one to choose! Even offer Gluten Free Buns!!! - but get a spoon, you will need it to finish the sub (a common issue with GF bread). Baked goods....especially Butter Tarts!!! They even have a freezer section!! For us....it is a MUST to and from Ottawa...Road Food!!!

Great sandwiches and desserts (mostly butter tarts). If you're in the area, you can't get a better deli sandwich.

My husband was in the store to pick up some subs for our dinner at 15:36 when he noticed one of the staff guide a woman through the choices of bread, meats etc to choose from. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Oh and the sub was fantastic as usual.
